General information about shipping
Ashley Keller Art proudly ships worldwide to most countries. Shipping rates are calculated on checkout based on your shipping address and package dimensions / weight. If your country is not available at checkout, please contact us for details.
To calculate a shipping estimate, simply add items to your cart and go to the checkout system. After entering your e-mail address, you can easily select your country and enter your postal code to receive a quote.
Shipping within Canada and the United States
Our preferred shipping carriers are Canada Post and FedEx. Once your order is shipped you will be e-mailed the tracking information (if applicable). If you have a specific shipping need or request please let us know and we will do our best to help you.
For international orders
Regular shipping methods to international destinations (Europe, Australia, etc.) can be 8-12 weeks. Expedited and tracked shipping options are available with delivery in 10 business days.
For orders being delivered to an address outside of Canada, please note the information regarding customs and import duties.
CUSTOMS OR IMPORT DUTIES
If your delivery country charges customs or import duties - these will be charged once the package reaches your destination country. You will be responsible to pay these charges. Unfortunately we have no control over the charges and cannot inform you what they will be.
Customs policies, including package processing times, vary widely from country to country – so if you have any questions regarding this, please contact your local customs office for further information.
Ashley Keller Art makes every attempt to ship within two business days of payment received. We normally ship on Monday, Wednesdays, and Fridays however special requests can be accommodated, including faster delivery at the appropriate cost, so please contact us for details.
Shipments cannot be made on statutory Canadian holidays due to post office closures and, in these scenarios, will be posted as quickly as possible on the next business day.
Work is shipped securely using corrugated cardboard boxes and recycled fills such as bubble wrap, foam and air pillows.
If you do not wish for your order invoice to be included in the shipment (eg. gifts) please let us know in the comments at checkout or by email.
DELIVERY AND INSURANCE
The goods ordered on this site travel at the buyer's risk. Due to the fragile nature of handmade ceramics, fine art is not eligible for the default insurance provided by Canada Post.
All pieces are professionally packaged to withstand stressful travel conditions and breakage is a very uncommon scenario.
If your package has arrived damaged, please contact us as soon as possible with your name and order information. We will do our utmost to ensure your satisfaction which may include a store credit or replacement in situations where a similar piece can be recreated.
General Condition of Sale
Every attempt is made to accurately photograph work. Due to differences in computer monitors there may be some variation of colour between the picture you view on your screen and the actual piece. If exact colour rendition is important to you please send us an email and we will do our best to describe the pot or send additional high resolution digital photos.
All measurements are taken on the widest and tallest points on the exterior of the pot. The measurements provided describe approximate overall exterior size and height. Some descriptions may include internal measurements where indicated. Please note that measurements may not be exact since all pieces are artisanal and handmade therefore they can be subject to unique imperfections.
Online payment is made via Shopify Payments; A secure payment provider where you can pay during checkout with a credit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. You may alternatively select Paypal as your payment option. No banking or personal data is transmitted at any time on the www.ashleykeller.work website.
Payment is made in Canadian Dollars (CAD). While the content and subtotal of your cart is displayed in your local currency, the checkout will use CAD at the most current exchange rate.
Additionally, you may create an account to securely save your payment information for more convenient, future checkouts as well as to track your order history.
As a professional business, we are required to charge sales tax on orders within Canada. The rule of thumb is that, if applicable, we must charge the GST and/or HST of the province where the shipment is being delivered. If you have questions about sales tax, please contact us.
If you are dissatisfied for any reason, please let us know. We work to ensure that all shop descriptions and photos are as accurate as possible to prevent the need for returns. We hope to meet your highest expectations and deliver the best possible purchasing experience.
COMMISSIONS AND CUSTOM WORK
For custom orders, payment is made in two steps: a 50% deposit on order, then payment of the balance when the order is ready. These deposits are made online using Square Invoicing which is a secure payment system where you can pay online with a credit card.
Shipping for custom orders will only take place upon receipt of full payment. In case of cancellation of a custom order in progress, the deposit will be retained and can not be the subject of any request for reimbursement.
Any and all responsibility on the part of Ashley Keller Art caused by a pot defect or breakage will be limited to the original purchase price of the pot.
